Why does TapeCam 8mm need camera or microphone access?

Camera access is required to capture photos and videos. Microphone access is required only when you enable audio recording for video capture.

Where are my photos and videos saved?

Media you capture or export is saved on your device. TapeCam 8mm does not upload your photos or videos to our servers.

How do I remove ads?

Purchase Premium from Settings in the App. Premium removes banner and interstitial ads across the camera, gallery, editor, and settings screens.

How do I restore Premium on a new device?

Open Settings in the App and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Google Play or Apple ID account that was used for the original purchase.

The App crashes or a feature is not working

Make sure you are running the latest version from the Play Store or App Store. If the problem continues, contact us with your device details and app version so we can investigate.

How do I delete my data?

Delete media from your device gallery or uninstall TapeCam 8mm to remove locally stored App data. For information about analytics and ads, see our Privacy Policy.
